Venture Engineering & Construction, Inc. Wins Multi-Million Dollar RNG Projects

Warrendale, PA (October, 2020) – Venture Engineering & Construction, Inc. (“Venture”) is proud to announce that it has been selected as the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for the design, construction, and commissioning of two dairy digester-to-renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities by a Confidential Client. The projects will convert cow manure to biogas using anaerobic digestion. The biogas will then be upgraded to pipeline quality RNG and injected into an interstate natural gas pipeline. The RNG is then marketed as an alternative transportation fuel for heavy-duty trucks and buses. Manure storage on dairy farms results in the release of methane, a greenhouse gas. These projects will capture this methane and convert it to a
beneficial use as RNG. Both projects are expected to be completed in late 2021 or early 2022.
